Esperanza Estates 1st Annual Home Tour The Hicks Home - Ensalmo The exterior of the Hicks home is reminiscent of an Italian villa. It also features a very secluded office area with a separate entrance. Also featured is a remodeled bath with a handicapped accessible shower. Furnishings and rugs have been acquired through the owner's travels. Particularly delightful are the three separate patio areas which complete a useable and romantic floor plan.

A beehive firplace flanked by framed art adds interest to the corner wall in the living area.

Available light and warm colors brighten the dining area. Meanwhile, Max (below) is bathed, dressed up, and ready to "party-down!"

The guest bedroom features a handicap accessible bathroom with floor to ceiling tile.

The South patio above is the sunny area with a water feature and a variety of plants. Around the corner to the East is the shady patio area with a doorway at the far end which leads to an office area. Notice the use of a large screen to provide color and interest to the area.
