Estates. It was apparently named for the rock |

Mesquite Park used to be called Holgado Park. There was a contest recently to rename this park. You can read about it in the newsletter. It seems to make more sense to name the park after the trees that are in the park, rather than the adjacent street. |

At the Southeast corner of Esperanza Estates is a small area now designated as Mountain View Park. Some folks (me) walk through this park on their way to Walgreen's to pick up a newspaper. |

Whigham Wash is a small park next to the original home of Earl Whigham. It provides beauty and function since it serves as a wash or drainage area during the Summer rains. Most of the time, it's just a pretty little park with trees and cholla cactus.

Finally, we come to Wishing Well Park. Not a large park, but very aptly named. This concludes our tour of some of the parks in Esperanza Estates. While you are here, why not toss a coin into the well? Your wish just might come true! |
